Welcome to Good News Baptist Church’s website.

Thanks for checking us out!  Good News Baptist meets at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings at the Fort Ritchie Community Center.  The Community Center is located at 14421 Lake Royer Rd in Cascade, MD.  Cascade is just 2 miles off of Highway 16 in Blue Ridge Summit, PA, 4 miles from Waynesboro, PA,  and 7 miles from Smithsburg, MD on Highway 491.  We are a short drive from Fairfield, PA and Thurmont, MD as well.

We desire to honor God while we grow together in faith, hope and love. Our time of worship on Sunday Mornings focuses on knowing God through a personal relationship with Jesus.  We would love to have you join us for our worship service in person.  If that is not possible, you can watch the live feed on our Facebook page.

On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM, we meet for a time of Bible study and fellowship. This is a great opportunity to build relationships with people and encourage one another through the journey of life.

We look forward to your visiting with us!  If we can be of service to you and your family in any way, please feel free to contact us.  Thanks again for stopping by the website.

Church is Important:
Learning to Thrive in the Body of Christ
A Study in I Timothy

Looking for the perfect church?  You won't find it.  When imperfect people come together even for worship of a perfect God there can be difficulty.  Paul's letter to Timothy addresses how a local church can fellowship, serve and grow together.

Join us Sunday Mornings at 10:30 AM to learn what it means to thrive as part of the family of God.
